The challenge on Jillís IdeaBooks4U blog this week, is to add pattern to fonts. The tutorial for this is in the fantastic book The Ultimate Guide to Digital Scrapbooking 2 which is available at IdeaBooks4U Store. This one was lots of fun! I'm so happy to have gotten a scrapbook page made about this day from the life of our little grandson, and his memorable quote. We still laugh at his just putting his little foot down, and saying that enough is enough with all of these people staying in his house for so long! It is quiet a feat for a three year old to tell his grandmother that he has had it. {And, this was coming from the grandson who loved to be with me more than any of the others at that time.} And, I LOVE the expression on his sweet face that I caught in this photograph! LOL
Journaling: James has just had a little baby brother to come into his family, and he has had his grandmother {me} staying with him to help with the little baby, and with James & Mitchell too. Now, today is the day when this grandmother is going to go back home to take care of Papa. That morning, when it was time for James to go to his little pre-school class, I told his daddy that I could take him to school before I left. Thinking that this was a good idea, we told James to climb into the car. Well, that little fellow would not budge! He just stood there planted next to his daddy, and said ďMonnie, I canít do thatĒ! Which was his way of saying; I want my life to go back to normal! And, I want my daddy to take me to school and then everything will be o.k.! I got a little kiss good-bye, an embarrassed look and off they went!
