This is an old photograph of our youngest son on his way to school. We were living at Ft. Monmouth, NJ . . . our son pronounced it "Fort Mama" . . . while his daddy was stationed there in the Army. Our children went to so many schools, that I just cant remember what the name of this one was . . . I do remember that each of our three sons went to a different elementary school that year.

My journaling reads:
I am going to school for the very first time today! We live at Fort Mama and I am riding the big, yellow school bus. My mother let me pick her roses to take to my new teacher. I am happy today!

The fonts used are: memo, penmanship print and mbats (combined with memo 1977 for the date stamp).
