Quick "1st day of school" layout for my son... it was way harder to get him to stop for a photo than it was his sister! Teenagers... sigh...

And, I tried some photo actions on this not-so-good pic to help it along! Not the greatest but it was all I got that first day!

JOURNALING
first day of school. now a junior in high school. and most definitely a teenager. almost 17. you’re anxious to drive... just a few more months and you’ll have your license. you are taking an “advanced placement” class in u.s. history and you have high hopes of making the varsity soccer team at NHHS. you love to go to bed late and you love to sleep in the next morning. you don't have a girlfried yet, but im sure that'll happen soon enough. you don’t like homework... and, yes, we clash over this sometimes. and, yes, we do clash over other things, too. but i guess that’s part of you being a teenager... and me being the mother of a teenager, right? (september 2007)
