This photo is one of our son Mark when he was four taken when we were changing posts from Ft. Bragg to Ft. Monmouth. The four children and I were staying with my parents while my husband found us a new house and began working.

Is there anything more wonderful than a popsicle on a hot day? Mark is sitting on the back porch steps with his little friend Sarah Ellen licking a cold popsicle from Mother’s freezer. The two of them had been friends since they were born in 1970 and have always played together when we were visiting Mother & Daddy.
