I loved Sandy's LO. My inspiration came from a combination of a LO Liz did last week and from Linda's and Debi's interpretation of the lift.

Like Liz's daughter, my son posted something very poignant on New Years Day. He struggles so much with life and I hope that 2019 will be a good year for him. Here is the journaling as it might be hard to read sideways.

Working at a shelter exposes me to a lot of very complicated emotions and stressors. But, truth be told, dealing with complicated emotions and stressors isn't anything new and I wouldn't have it any other way. When I look back on the person I was a few years ago and who I am today, I can't help but feel proud of the person I've turned out to be and of the work I do. Sometimes, life feels like a constant fumble but at least--when I look at a wider scope--it's been a fumble in an upward direction.
Here's to 2019 being another year to laugh through tears and struggle and fumble my way towards the person I was always meant to be.
