OK, so honestly, this started out as a layout for the SSL... I had a few photos ready to scrap from an air show held in nearby Huntington Beach and all those circle brushes in Deborah's page made me think of the jets flying around. Then Katie came out with these cool new journaling/photo brushes... and the layout took a slighly different path. When I saw "wild blue yonder", I simply HAD to use that brush! *grin* So, I guess this could be considered an SSL-new-goodies-I-had-to-use layout!

And, yes... I realize that I often add brads at the end of a loopy brush, but hey... it's just works so well sometimes! OK, more than just sometimes! Ha.

I am seriously a complete geek when it comes to fighter jets so this weekend was pretty cool! And, a complete time sucker for me! LOL I spent more time in my backyard trying to get a shot as the jets performed off the beach in Huntington (next city north of me). I did manage to get some shots and my brother and I had a fun time texting each other during the show. He lives on the north end of Huntington (I'm south of there...) so he had a slightly better view, but we'd text each other "Hey, they're heading your way!" etc. etc. It was great fun!
And, yes, there will be a right-side to this with the other pics I snapped over the weekend!
