The minute I saw the wordart/quotes in Lynn's choice for this week's "Wayback Wednesday" on the DD blog, I knew exactly what I wanted to document. This quote spoke to me and was the perfect starting point for some thoughts I've wanted to put to 'paper'.
(And pardon the rambling... this is kind of stream-of-consciousness journaling!)

I'm so very, very grateful that Shannon was able to study abroad this fall semester. She honestly picked the best place for her... she has fallen in love with Scotland and Glasgow and the university and the highlands and the borders and Skye and Edinburgh and Gaelic football (even though it's an Irish sport... haha!) and... yes, the people. And, heck... she hasn't even met Chrissy yet... that'll really seal the deal! *grin* Seriously, it's been a wonderful journey for her and it's hard to put into words the joy and gratitude I feel.

I couldn't put a million photos on the page (you know me... LOL) and I couldn't narrow it down to just a few, so... coming off the heels of Sharon's great non-photo chat last weekend, well... this layout was born!

Thanks, Lynn, for picking such a special product for this week's challenge... the timing was simply perfect for me.
And, now... I'll just be quiet. *smile*
