Journaling:
Memories are a way of holding on to the things that you love, the things that you are, and the things that you never want to lose. Memory is defined as ‘the power to store experiences and to bring them into the field of consciousness sometime after the experience has occurred’. Some memories are lost, some are remembered so vividly, they are imprinted in our sub-conscious forever, and some fade or become blurred over time, leaving us to question, if we have the details right, or if they really happened at all?

Documenting our ordinary, everyday lives, lets us relive the moments, and remember that even the ordinary, is extraordinary and this life is pretty darn amazing! I want my kids to look back and remember... the good, the bad...and even the ugly... no one ever said it would be easy, just that it would be worth it!
Because even adversity is not harmful... it builds character, and makes you appreciate the good times even more. I hope my children remember how blessed they were and how much they were loved... I hope that they learn and grow from the difficult times, and are grateful, everyday... life is a gift, and time is fleeting. I want them to appreciate the little things in life, because one day, they will look back and realize they were the “big” things... the important things... the things that mattered! ‘Delight in the ordinary’
