I had fun playing along with Liz aka liziet5 on today’s Saturday Scraplift. Anke’s layouts are always wonderful . . . “Slice of Summer” was great to lift! today’s Saturday Scraplift challenge on the Designer Digitals Blog. I have used an old photograph of my cousin, Charles Richard made after the end of WWII. Our uncle had send him some discarded military items from foreign soldiers to play with . . . Charlie even dressed his dog in a flak jacket! Guess that little boys never change. I know that my little boys loved to play with their daddy’s Army items (when he wasn’t looking) in the 1970’s.

Journaling: Uncle James brought Charles Richard a helmet and a few other items back from Europe at the end of the war . . . he and his old dog Bully are playing war . . . Bully has on a flak jacket and Charlie has on his helmet, belt and gun.
