Chrissy chose a wonderful page to lift for this week's SSL... hop on over to the DD blog and check it out! I jumped at the chance to lift Amy's super fun and super cute layout! And, then panicked... blending? Um, so not my forté! But, I'm happy to say that I managed to get over my fear (haha) and actually blended... at least I think I did! LOL I clipped paper to a cool brush from Katie instead of a photo like Amy did, but I'm happy with my elementary blending! Thank you, Amy, for the inspiration and thanks, Chrissy, for the kick to step outta my "non-blending" box! LOL

Rolling out the welcome mat... er... mats! But first we had to pick one out! *smiley* I had gone to Target to pick up some things for the kitchen when I walked by the mat aisle. Oh, my... we need a mat for the porch! So, I snapped a few photos of some door mats and texted them to Rick for input. Which one do you think he liked! Hint: It didn’t match my shoes! But, it’s simple and classic and looks great at the new front door!
