I made this page for the Page Makeover Challenge: Endings this week on the Designer Digitals Blog. Sarah asked us to begin with a layout showing an ending and change it to show a beginning. I switched things around and used an old page showing the beginning day of a trip to New England and used it as the basis for a makeover to show the last day of our trip just before leaving New Hampshire for home.

We travel to New England almost every October . . . in 2013 the weather was wonderful and the trees glorious! I took lots of photos! I also started a book for this trip . . . here is the first page for Day #1.

day one . . . october 14th

Journaling: We are heading south for home again . . . got up early and then off to the pretty little Manchester, NH airport for our 11:45 flight back home. We love to visit the airport bookstores and have snacks in airports. We visited the nice little USO . . . what a wonderful thing for our military families. Wish that these had been around when we were flying all over the world while we were in the Army!!

The large photo was manipulated on my iPhone with a Mobile Monet app.
The grainy b/w paper was made with the close-up of a walkway outside the airport and also changed in the Mobile Monet app on my phone.
