I know as mothers we aren’t *supposed* to compare our kids, but I have found it a blessing each time I have sat down to try to write about each of them with the same journaling prompt. I love celebrating their uniqueness, trying to discover what makes them “tick.”
This is my third page of attempts like this.
(the others are here and here...someday I will add journaling to this one and include it as well)
I was working on a totally different (but similar) layout, when my husband snapped these photos of the kids(we are renewing our residence visas and needed passport-style head shots…these are wonderful…the one he took of me, however, will be a sore subject from now until forever). Anyway, it made me think about what it takes to make each of these sweethearts smile…and obviously for my oldest, that does not include the phrase “can I take your picture?”
So, a scrapbook page was born from inspired mugshots Smile
