Come and join in this week's "Template Mash-Up" on the DD blog! This was a fun one! And, quite the challenge! It's hard enough for me to add things to a layout, but here I had to use elements from TWO different templates! And, yes... it really was fun to pick and choose! And, yes... this is outside my simple box somewhat! *wink*

My daughter tried out for the University of Minnesota's club soccer team and I'm happy to say that she made it! WooHoo! I had asked her for photos (since I'm not there!) and these were the two she sent me... one from the campus connector bus and the other "from where she stood"... clever!

You had two intense days of tryouts but you felt you had worked hard and done well. Apparently, you had because you got the call just a few hours after tryouts were over that you had made the team!
You were so, so happy and I was so stinkin' proud! *SMILEY* Go Gophers!
Photo 1: You had to take the Campus Connector bus to the St. Paul campus fields.
Photos 2: I requested a photo both days and these were the two you took and sent to me. Interesting
perspectives... perfect documentation.

I used the two challenge templates:
Adore You Layered Template
I used the 'thin' frame, the heart, flourish and splatter brushes, as well as the gold label/tab.
Scrap Express No. 156
I used one photo frame, I doubled the large brushed frame (one white, one maroon) and kept the inked frame (around the one photo).

I added background paper:
Textured Cardstock: Cape Paper Pack

And, the logo from the university website. (And a little soccer ball...)

Thanks for looking! Debi
