When I arrived home from a week away, these tree peonies were rioting in my backyard. I planted them over 15 years ago and they never fail to stun me with their glory. Each year the shrub seems to produce more and more of these amazing blossoms. Unfortunately the blossoms smell like wet leather.. as in boots, well worn boots.. So they must stay outside. They make great subjects for the camera and that is good.

This is from the Art Journal Class Pattie is teaching a Debbie Hodge's site. Lesson NO. 5. All about using texture and frames and making transfer like images with filters of all sorts of artistic purposes!! I am really happy with this class.
