My sweet girl has been through a lot these past few months. She's had digestive trouble for most of her life, but these past few months have been really miserable for sad during her senior year. We found a wonderful new doctor who was finally able to give us some answers. This is all new, so things haven't turned around completely yet, but I'm hoping and praying that we're on our way and she'll regain the 10 pounds she's lost since September.

FYI...30% of people diagnosed with IBS actually have an intolerance to fructose. Very few doctors test for it. Please pm me if you need further info.

Thanks for looking! Angie

Journaling reads:
My sweet girl, youíve been through so much in the last few months. Youíve been sick, and we had no idea what could be wrong with you. You are under the care of a new gastro doctor who finally diagnosed a severe intolerance to fructose. He also found something that was a total surprise...severe reflux. You are on medication and have altered your diet. Itís a learning process, but we are just so happy to finally have some answers. Iím praying that your recovery time will be short, and youíll be feeling better than ever in no time at all. Everything happens for a reason, and now youíve decided to go to medical school instead of law school and study gastroenterology. If you do, I know that you will be such a
compassionate and dedicated doctor. God has big plans for you.
We are so proud of you and love you so much.
