Tick tock tick tock, day in day out, routines day after day. Drop kids at school, shop for groceries, make dinner, dentist appointment, cross off the schedule, vacuum the house, hang out the washing, train for sports, clean the car, pump the gas, parent teacher meetings, committee duties, our to do list keeps getting bigger and bigger.
This month I want you to pick one of your daily (or otherwise) routines and scrap about it. It’s going to be a bit like an all about me page, but it all adds to our scrapping repertoire.
And of course I mention a lot of the drudgery of routines, maybe your routine is a lot more delightful – a monthly massage, a daily walk, a morning yoga session, a Sunday roast, attending a book club, a regular hair appointment, getting your nails done, meeting up with a friend.
Let’s scrap about one of the routine things that happen in our lives.
The creative team have jumped on board with some terrific example pages:
I was thrilled with this page from Guest CT member Jheri. The funny thing is I’m quite the opposite, I’ve become more of a mundane cook as time has gone on. I need a bit of Jheri to rub off onto me. Great page about the routine of cooking and just check out those examples!
Oh boy, Debi, I get it, I truly do. You are one heck of a good daughter and you know that time is precious. What a page.
And for my page I have a daily routine and I wonder how many people will relate. I tell the story about my parkour cat that wakes me up every single morning before the alarm goes off. I could not even tell you a time where he didn’t do it. Never wakes my husband up. Always me!
The team at DD have generously provided a freebie to help you on your way, the link is good for the entire month of March. I hope the goodies inspire you. I am really looking forward to reading your stories (and commiserating on some of the routines you may have!)
Post your pages in the Scrapbook Challenge Gallery and don’t forget when you use ALL DD product on your challenge page you should post a link of your page in the March Challenge Participation thread so that it will count toward your savings in the rewards program. Everyone’s a winner!
