Story Scrapbook Challenge

Mother’s Day is upon us in certain parts of the world, and this month I want you to tell the story of a woman in your life, someone who has influenced you, who has touched you, who has said words to you that have been a game changer.

Now that might be your mother, your aunt, your grandmother, your sister, your daughter, your niece, your bestie, the woman up the street, the lady who drives the taxi cab, the nurse who has cared for you or a loved one, the kind woman who donates time for charity, the neighbour who chats to you when you are in the garden.

There are beautiful amazing women everywhere in our lives.  Look around.  Tell their story.  Tell us why they mean what they do to you.  Tell us how they’ve rocked your world, turned it upside down, set you on your path, or gently guided you, filled you with admiration and then some.

For me there was no doubt it was one of my beautiful step daughters, I could have picked both for sure, but for this challenge step daughter no. 1.  The journalling speaks for itself.

Supplies I have used:   Darcy Gardens Scrapbook Kit,  Darcy Gardens Painted Layers,  Little Enamel Charms: Hearts No. 01,  Simple Collage Frames No. 03,  Colorful Journalers: Winter Park.

The team at DD have generously provided a freebie to help you on your way, the link is good for the entire month of May.  I hope the goodies inspire you.   I am really looking forward to reading your stories.

I hope you like the goodies I’ve chosen for the freebie this month.  I chose the orange rose because apparently it symbolizes enthusiasm, passion and energy – key traits for a influential woman in your life.

Post your pages in the Scrapbook Challenge Gallery and don’t forget when you use ALL DD product on your challenge page you should post a link of your page in the May Challenge Participation thread so that it will count toward your savings in the rewards program.  Everyone’s a winner!
