On the street where you live, or a story about your neighbourhood, that’s what I want to hear about this month.
Over our lives we move houses, we move towns, we befriend neighbours and traditions with those neighbourhoods and those are some great stories to remember, those times in our lives.
So tell us about your street, is it busy, is it a noisy thoroughfare, or is it a quiet little laneway? Do you sit on your front porch and look out at what? What do you see? Do you have great neighbours? Neighbourhood street parties? Or dare I even ask, do you have the neighbours to end all neighbours, problems, noisy parties, causing you angst?
Are you near the shops? Do you hear children play in a school ground? What are your neighbourhood sounds? Do you head out your front gate for a walk and where does it take you? Do you have a gorgeous garden bringing you immense pleasure ? Do you trade veggies from the garden with your neighbours, talk over the fence, look after each other’s places. This challenge can be really open ended and take you anywhere you want to go.
I love the direction that Debi’s story has morphed into, the house where she grew up. All those beautiful memories, will never fade because they are all there on this fabulous page.

I always thought of myself as a city girl until I met my husband and moved to the country, which was the be all and end all of laughs for my friends. Now I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. You can find my page here.
