Saturday Scraplift: Soft Blendable Goodness

Good morning! It’s time for another Saturday Scraplift and after last week’s gorgeous pattern paper page, I decided to go a different direction this week and find a soft, blendable page for your inspiration. Although lots of people blend well, britgirl (Mel) is one of my favorites for soft, blendable, vintage looking pages. So this week, let’s play with layers instead of paper. 🙂

And I enlisted a couple Guest CT members to join me on the blog. First up is tammielsmith with this gorgeous floral page. I just shoveled over 10″ of snow yesterday, this is a beautiful page to see in the midst of our snowstorm. Tammie used a large photo, light background and soft brush work and strong elements to highlight the iris. Beautiful.

Crystal used the overall design but shrunk it down to better fit her scrapbooking style. I love the pencil florals and the painted florals for extra depth. And what a precious photo. Love that hat!

Finally, I went back to my Utah photos for a great landscape picture. Wow, it was so gorgeous out there. I enjoyed pulling elements from multiple blendable layer templates. That’s what is so great about the blendables. There are so many elements in each template that you can really make tons of different looks with them.
