Hiya, welcome to another Saturday Scraplift challenge. It sounds like the winter is persuading some of us to spend time indoors scrapping. To cheer us up, I’ve chosen a bright page by Erin (Ernie88). I loved it as soon as I spotted it in the gallery, it really stands out.
Rainbows make such an effective design element, so pleasing to our eyes. I love the graphic word art, and scattered elements, all combining to create a lovely family page.
I started by thinking of using rainbow ribbons too, then I remembered this sweet photo I’d taken of Amy last weekend when we enjoyed being ladies who lunch after she had a climbing session. I used Katie’s new Everlasting Kit as my base for the page, and found other pink ricrac in my supplies to add, I always loved ribbons during my paper scrapping days, and they’re just as fun (and easier to attach to the page) with digi!
I used Little Princess Kit; Vintage Photo Frames No. 37; Border Stamps n Layers No. 01; Everlasting Collection; Collageables No. 03; Watery brushes No. 01; Arrowed Paper Clips No. 01; Little Shores Kit; Metal Rimmed Glittered Alpha: Pink; Deelen Solids Paper Pack; Dalese Solids and Stripes Paper Pack; Stitched Circles Clean and Messy: White No. 01 all by Katie Pertiet.
I hope this has inspired you to spend time this weekend scrapping! Post your pages in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery. Remember that challenge pages using 100% Designer Digitals products are eligible for our rewards program, check out the Reward thread for January. I’m looking forward to seeing your pages!
