Saturday Scraplift: Patterned Paper Strips

Hello! Welcome to another Saturday Scraplift. Today I decided to look back through my favorites folder and pull out an older page that totally grabbed my eye back when it was posted. Only realizing later that she actually made this page for a 30MM!! Wow, I could never have pulled this off in 30 minutes! So thanks to Elisabeth (lego) for this super fun inspiration!

I think the colors and patterns really give this page a lot of energy and it just makes you smile to look at it. I loved how it was a bit clean in design and also a bit crooked. Great juxtaposition of design styles. Hopefully you are inspired by this page as well. 🙂

I love the SSL because it gives me “permission” to lift an amazing page almost in it’s entirety. Sometimes, that’s just the push I need to get my scrapbook mojo back. So here is my very blatant lift of Elisabeth’s page. Although I used a bit more of a clean design, I still kept with the overall look of the page. I chose a trio of goofy photos of 2 of my kids. I have tons of these goofy photos….my son loves to annoy his “such a teenage girl” sister. 😛
