Hiya,
welcome to another Saturday Scraplift! It’s been a fun week with my Amy starting to play a new instrument – the trumpet. What with her brother never being a quiet child, it’s a bit noisy round here! She’s away to the local high school for most of the weekend for intensive lessons with the band, so I have some time to scrap and chat.
This week I loved seeing the pages in the gallery both from the 30 mm and the sales chats! A lovely rainbow of layouts! I love this page by Kate (OKate), for the 30 minute masterpiece challenge, I’m impressed she created such a lovely page in such a short time.
The newspaper and the paint behind the photo really set it off, and I’m always a fan of strips of paper vertically at the edge of a page.
For my page, I chose my new favourite photo of the kids, on a recent trip to Dumfries House. This is a stately home and gardens that was saved by Prince Charles around 10 years ago. The grounds are free to visit, and are stunning. I stuck closely to the original page, but used one photo instead of four.
I used Cambrianna Collection; Wood Veneer Rounded Corner Frames No. 01; Frame Hangers No. 01; Pencil Script Sentiments No. 01; Hey Missy Kit; Painted Bookshelf Layers No. 02; Daisetta Paint Blends; Watery Photo Masks No. 11.
Now it’s your turn, be inspired by Kate’s page, and get scrapping! Post your pages in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery. If you use 100 % Designer Digitals products, your page is also eligible for our rewards scheme, sign in to the May rewards thread to keep track of your pages. Happy Scrapping!
