Happy Saturday! Welcome back to the Saturday Scraplift. My laptop was in the shop all week (it was awful!) and I only got it back last night so I enlisted lots of help to show off this week’s challenge.
I chose a clean design this week as I like to mix it up every once in awhile with the spilled frames, blending and layered pages. This week’s page is a tip of the hat to the clean line scrappers out there. So, I chose Amy L’s adorable page “This”. This precious photo did not need any crazy embellishments or layered details. It totally shines all on it’s own. Henry is just so precious! 🙂
Lizziet5 (Liz) also chose to feature her adorable grandsons. Wow, such cute boys! Love how she used a few more embellishments and brushes and also how she used word strips as trim at the bottom of the page. Adorable.

tammielsmith (Tammie) also took on the challenge but decided to turn it on it’s side. It totally works with this design. Sunny is just a cute as the grandboys in the last two pages. 🙂 Love the added circle grid to ground the photo and the color scheme.
Everyday Mini Mix No. 01, Vintage Ephemera Strips No. 08, Wire Frame Grid Panels No. 02, Readymade Layers: Vintage Borders No. 04, Spring Bouquet Scrapbooking Mini Kit recolored, Bliss Solids Paper Pack, Big Watery Painted Patterns Brushes and Stamps No. 05
And finally, digigrandma (merrilee) did a page about….wait for it….her grandsons! LOL I am a total sucker for a photo from the back. I always love these perspective pictures and with the water and flag in the background, this one is a winner. Merrilee and Tammie were channeling the same gorgeous color scheme and yet made very different pages. I just love the SSL and all the different ways people are inspired!
I am excited to see where Amy’s inspiration page takes you. Will you pull out a favorite grandson photo too? Or will you just chose a special picture that deserves to be the center of attention? Either way, be sure to post your page in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery as well as in the March Participation Thread in the forum. Can’t wait to see what you create!
Have a great weekend!
