Good morning everyone!
I trust all your Christmas preparations are going to plan, and that you have a little “me” time to do some scraplifting on this lovely Saturday.
I am always on the lookout for great photoless page designs. This page of Anke’s is the perfect design to scrap a story without a photo, but also works so well for a few photos as well. I love all the Christmasy bits tucked into the paper pocket.
Carmel, Debborah and Karen all volunteered to lift Anke’s page. Their full product details will be available when they post their lovely layouts in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery.
Carmel (caapmun), stayed with a photoless design to tell the story of a wonderful Christmas tradition at her place of work. It is a gorgeously rich design with all the sparkle of the season.
Debborah (DivaMom96), used the design to celebrate a key element of the Festival of Lights. It made me smile because the students at the school where I teach and where they learn Hebrew as a second language, were having fun spinning dreidels last week. I love that Debborah’s page is weighted to the right, illustrating the versatility of this page design.
Karen (KarenC), has scrapped a more clean and simple version of the design and used four photos of one young man at gift giving time! I love that she jas given her paper pocket a border design.
My Claire LOVES Santa, but we do try to keep out of his way as he is usually very busy with long lines of children waiting to have their photo taken. This year, Santa and his helper went out of their way to acknowledge Claire, and I really wanted to scrap this little story. The central journaling block of Anke’s design was perfect for this, and I was able to tuck in a couple of snaps I took into the bargain!
I hope you are as inspired by Anke’s page as we were! Please post your page in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery, and don’t forget to add your 100% DD product page to the December Challenge Participation Sign-in Thread to earn savings coupons to use in the Designer Digitals shop. It’s nearly the end of the month (year!!!) after all!
Happy scrapping, everyone!
