Saturday Scraplift: Across the middle

This week’s inspiration is a very, very special page created by Sarah (aka Sterkeurs) for her grandmother (who sounds like an amazing lady):


There was so much inspiration here, from the placement of the photo on the side with its clustering of meaningful elements, to the use of Ali’s handdrawn frame around the journaling. It’s a beautiful color scheme as well.

My page was very different in theme, but I love where Sarah’s page took me:

Beckie’s bold dark background really makes her photo shine, and I love how the color of the wooden title echoes and balances the colors in her photos:

Trace’s layout pairs a black and white photo and neutral pale background with pops of bright color for a wonderful effect:
