Mix and Match: Template Mash Up Scrapbooking Challenge

I always appreciate having wardrobe pieces that I can mix and match. Layered templates are no different! When it comes to creating a fun and attractive scrapbook layout, templates can give us mix and match flexibility. For this challenge, I decided to try something new. Instead of two templates to mash, I’m challenging you to mix and match elements from three beautiful products. You can use all three, or any two of the three to create your unique page design.

I mixed and matched bits and pieces from all of these templates (with some significant design inspiration from one of my all time favorite scrappers, Arte Banale!). The Grateful Layered Template has long been one of my favorites, and I knew that I wanted to use its title word art during this Thanksgiving week. Adding a sticker effect to the watery foliage wreath from the Beyond Expectations Template gives it a whole new look. And the blended florals of the Every Minute Template yielded a perfect background for my design.

In addition to Katie’s three beautiful templates, I used her Anzio Kit and  Jungle Stories Solids Paper Pack to complete my page. This photo is precious to me, and I’m thrilled to have a completed layout featuring it. My daughter took this picture of me with all three of my grandchildren, shortly after baby Bennett’s birth. “Grateful” is certainly the word that springs to mind whenever I see this photo!

I would love to see how you would mix and match these three templates to feature your own photos. If you participate in the challenge, please share your page in our Template Challenge Gallery. And don’t forget that you can earn credit in our rewards program! All of the details are in the November  Participation Sign In thread in our forum.

I hope that you all find much to be thankful for this holiday. I am grateful for each of you in our Designer Digitals community. 🙂
