Mask Appeal Scrapbook Challenge – Fall Texture

Hello.  This is Jana.  Fall has officially arrived.  We are feeling and seeing the early stages in Minnesota.  When I think of fall, one of things that comes to mind is texture.  I can almost hear the crunchy leaves beneath my feet.  Fall is certainly one of my most favorite seasons to scrapbook because of the colors, the products…..well, everything.  I hope you join us in the September Mask Appeal Challenge.

Katie has provided us with a fabulous freebie pack designed to bring additional texture to your next page.  You can download it for free here between now and September 30th.  Use the mask included in the freebie pack along with your other Designer Digital products and post a page in the Mask Appeal Gallery.

I gave my friends Connie and Trace on the creative team the same challenge.  They both created GORGEOUS pages for fall.  I’m excited to share them with you.

Connie (scullen2) used this stunning photo of her daughter along with the freebie mask to create this awesome page.  I love how the mask adds such great texture to the colors behind her photo.

Connie use the following products: (Katie Pertiet) Freebie Pack, Really Awesome Layered Template, Textured Cardstock: Cape Paper Pack, Watery Stars Brushes and Stamps No. 01, Spooktacular Epoxy Add-Ons, So Fine Element Pack, Done with Doilies Photo Clusters No. 01, (Cathy Zielske) Toothy Fall Paper Pack

Trace’s (tracermajig) created that masterpiece which is overflowing with fall goodness. I loved studying every detail of her gorgeous composition.

Trace used the following products on her page: (Katie Pertiet) Readymade Borders: Fall No. 01, Lightly Woods Paper Pack, Flourishing Leaves No. 04, Baker’s Twine: Lime, Flourished Words Brushes and Stamps No. 02, Leaf Charms No. 01, Photo Journal Clusters No. 02, Striped Mix: Tangerine Value Paper Pack, Taped Word Strips No. 04, Wooden Alphabet No. 03

I enjoyed creating this page using a favorite photo from last fall.  It is so fun to be able to incorporate fall textures into a page.

I used the following products: (Katie Pertiet) Garden Stake Dates, Lifelines, 98 Days of Summer, Readymade Borders Fall No. 1, Vintage Library Paperie No. 3, Watery Bookshelf Dots No. 1, Letterbox Blendables No. 1, Botanist Notebook No. 25, Autumnal Artistry, Farm Fresh Collection, Crumpled Cardstock Photo Mats No. 1, Hey Missy Kit, Burlap Essentials, Frosted Winter, Color Study Brown, Assorted Messy Brown Stitches, Hadleigh Kit

Post your page in the Mask Appeal Scrapbook Challenge Gallery as well as in the September Challenge Forum Post to increase your savings at Designer Digitals.  You can check out this thread for details.

Happy Creating and Happy Fall!
