Itunes: Happy tears

Hiya and welcome to a new itunes challenge. It’s just been the October half-term holiday here, a chance to recharge my batteries. I’ve chosen this album cover, which should also provide a relaxing challenge as we move fully into autumn and the colder weather.

My girl loves this song, it’s always on playlists for the car as she can sing along with every word. It’s a dramatic cover, with the contrast between the photos. I love the clear design which will allow your photo to shine. The teardrop shape makes an unusual frame too.

I was pleased to see Sharon (Shannamay) create a fun page for this challenge.

I love how she changed the photo to black and white inside the title letters. The well-chosen elements add to the photo which is stunning. I am always a sucker for a large photo, and it really adds to the sense of scale here! Sharon used Wanderer Scrapbooking Bundle; Wire Rimmed Alphabet No. 04

I decided to stick close to the inspiration piece, and used the fun freebie template Katie’s provided for the challenge. We’re just back from a holiday with my parents to the North East of England. We visited beaches, castles and playparks, and loved exploring this part of the country.

I used the template and Catana Solids Paper Pack.

Now it’s your turn. I’d love to see your take on this challenge. Post your pages in the itunes inspiration gallery so we can leave some love. Remember to keep track of your challenge pages in the October Challenge Participation Thread. This will let you build up towards a store discount voucher at the end of the month if you use 100% Designer Digitals products.

Happy Scrapping!
