iTunes for October!

Hiya, Chrissy here with this month’s iTunes inspiration challenge. I’ve chosen an all-time favourite album of mine, Siamese Dream by Smashing Pumpkins, and I went for the 2011 reissue as I like the colours. I can see inspiration in the patterned background, or the extracted/ masked image. Or there’s the word art with the central star. Maybe you’ll be inspired by the idea of colour in your photo, or take a chance on using a large photo on your page. I could also be inspired by the wings on the girls in the photo.

Sylvia and Trace from the creative team jumped at the chance to create pages based on this cover.

Sylvia took her inspiration from the patterned background, and the large photo to create this lovely page. I love when we put ourselves on our pages! The word art works perfectly too!

Trace turned the design sideways, and created this gorgeous page featuring her daughter. I love the layers of flowers between the patterned paper and the photo. The black and white photo really shines among the bright coloured elements.

I decided to go with the orange as it’s not a colour I use often, but with changing the photo to b&w it was worth it.  Then I simply added a couple of elements to go with the journalling about my cuddly son.

Katie has generously provided a freebie for this challenge, which is available here. Now I’d love to see your pages based on the inspiration piece. Post your pages in the iTunes gallery. Remember too that your pages with 100% Designer Digitals products are eligible for the rewards scheme, so keep track in the rewards thread for October.

Happy scrapping!
