Getting Artsy with Digital Scrapbooking: Splatters

Good morning. Anke here with another artsy challenge. I hope everybody is ready to play with splatters this morning. I have a few that Katie put together in a nice freebie pack. You can grab them here. Use these or any other splatters you might have in your stash.

Here are a couple of examples as to how you could use them
Merr (digigrandma) created this beautiful flower arrangement

The colors are so vibrant and gorgeous and I just love that she added the splatters in that same bright color and how the frame just peaks out a little bit. Here is what she used to make this page:
K. Pertiet:
Not Enough Hours Brushes and Stamps – coming soon, Quinn Solids,  Spill Frame Layers No. 16,  Splatters Brushes and Stamps No. 04, Fine Line Twists Brushes and Stamps No 04, Clock Parts No. 09,  Build a Blend Page No. 02
Pretty, isn’t it?
Here is my page

I wanted to keep the page a little cleaner but still make it artsy, so I colored the splatters the same as the mask and kept it all light. I kind of like the effect.
Here is what I used:
K. Pertiet
watery succulents No.1 – coming soon, messy stitched circles black – coming soon,
Quinn label pack,  Quinn PP,  Quinn sentiment pack,
Underlined sentiments,  fine line twists No.4, meadow ridge kit
messy stitches No.2, painted photo masks No.1 , splatters No.4
watery honeycombs No.1
,MBS
Clear thru alpha No.11
This shows you that you can go either full out and artsy or just add a little something, the choice is yours, just as long as you come out and play 🙂
Don’t forget to post your pages in the Artsy Challenge gallery  and also pop a link in the October Participation Thread so that we can find your page. Enjoy the process!
