When a fifth Saturday rolls around, we like to showcase one of our own talented Creative Team members. This month the spotlight is on Sharon Burrows, and two of my fellow team members and I were delighted to browse Sharon’s lovely gallery to find a page to scraplift. The challenge was narrowing it down to one page! Here are Sharon’s pages and the ones they inspired:
Debi (beehive50) is, by her own admission, a clean scrapper; and nobody does it better. She chose to lift one of Sharon’s darling pages about her grandchild, incorporating the key line stroke and corner embellishments, as well as pops of yellow on an otherwise black and white page.

Jana (jana) chose a page of Sharon’s that shows off the natural beauty around us. She lifted the large photo blended into the background and supported by two detail shots to complete the story. I really like the way she used one of the readymade layers to form a shelf for her smaller photos.

I chose another of Sharon’s grandchild pages because I love the way she divided the background with her papers and showcased the single photo. I rotated the design since I was scrapping a landscape oriented photo and included some corner embellishments as Sharon did for balance.

A treat lies in store for you when you browse Sharon’s gallery, and I have no doubt you’ll find many pages to inspire you. Can’t wait to see which one you choose! Post your page in the CT Spotlight Scraplift Gallery and in the July Challenge Participation Sign In thread. Happy scrapping!
