It’s the fifth Saturday in September, and you know what that means: we’re spotlighting one of our own Creative Team members, Liz Jutila. Liz is such a versatile scrapper; she can design single-photo and multi-photo pages with equal creativity, and I absolutely adore the way she uses color and patterned papers throughout her gallery. Our Guest CT and Creative Team members leapt at the chance to lift Liz. Here’s how she inspired them.
Elisabeth (lego) chose one of Liz’s single-photo pages to lift, and both the inspiration and Elisabeth’s page contain a mighty cute little girl as the focal point. I really like how Elisabeth chose the star background paper to mimic the container her daughter is holding, and the band that’s home to the large stacked word art is so eye-catching.

Kate (OKate) lifted a monthly review page by Liz and used it to tell the story of a trip to a number of Canadian sites that she and her husband took. Both pages include lots of pictures, but there’s also no shortage of journaling to tell the important details captured in the photographs. A grid is a great way to make room for pictures, journaling, and elements.
Esther (esther_a) chose to lift one of Liz’s calendar topper pages to document the happy arrival of a new member of the family. Like Liz, she included lots of photos but didn’t sacrifice design by housing them in a grid from Katie’s Memory Works Layered Templates. She also adopted accents like stitching and doilies from Liz’s design which also work perfectly on her page.
You’re in for a real treat when you browse Liz’s gallery to find a page to lift. There’s no end to the inspiration, and I’m looking forward to seeing what you create. Remember to post your page in the CT Spotlight Scraplift Gallery and if you finish today, in the September Participation Thread in the forum. Happy scrapping!
