Color Spots Scrapbook Challenge: Winter Ice

I hope you’ve seen Katie’s gorgeous Winter Ice Collection.

KT523452 At least for those of us in the northern hemisphere, it so accurately (and beautifully) represents what life looks like right now! This collection would work particularly well with today’s new Color Spots Challenge. Our inspiration palette comes from Design Seeds, and is titled ‘Skate Tones:’

Your challenge is to create a page using the colors in this inspiration photo/palette! Use all Designer Digitals products, and upload your page to the Color Challenge Gallery to inspire us all! Your page does NOT need to be winter themed, and you don’t have to use the Winter Ice Collection. Many other DD products, old and new, would work very well for this challenge. Lynn’s December Kit is another great example.

Our very own California girl, Debi, was eager to share a page with the cool tones.

Debi used the Winter Ice collection, along with Counting Days Labels No. 1 Green (recolored), Thin Classic Photo Frames Curled and Flat No. 1, Thicker inked December Brushes and Stamps No. 2, and Hint at It: Shiver, to create her layout.

Even though she’s currently experiencing early summer where she lives in Australia, Esther also shared an ‘icy’ page….from last July!

In addition to the Winter Ice Collection, Esther made good use of the Twenty Five Layered Template, Thin Classic Photo Frames Curled and Flat No. 1, Vintage Edge Overlays No. 1, Hint at It: Shiver, and ReadyMade Borders Winter No. 1.

I’d love to see your cool pages….and remember that your participation in this challenge will count toward our new rewards program. The details are in this thread if you need a refresher. You’ll want to sign in on the December Challenge Participation Thread to increase your discount at DD in January!
