Winter is in full swing in parts of the world. Snow covered yards, snow capped mountains and afternoon hot chocolate when the kiddos arrive home from school. The founder of Ice Castles lives here in Utah, a few hours away from where I live. I’ve been in awe of his work for the past few years and drew inspiration from his talent. Here are a few photos that I found on the Ice Castles website and Instagram feed.
Sadly, we haven’t had much snow here in the valley. I (KimR+) began playing with the one snow photo that I have from Christmas Day. Yup, my kids built 2 snow people from the 1/2″ of snow we received over night. It wasn’t coming together for me, so I began working on my first Project Life spread of 2018. The colors worked so well. I think I am now hooked on Katies new Monthly Memories series she will be creating through out the year!Supplies used: Arctic Whites Paper Pack No. 02, Cold Outside Element Pack, Loosely Labeled Dates No. 02, Monthly Memories Layered Template Pack No. 01, Readymade Layers Winter Borders No 7, Roughed Up Pocket Cards: Striped No. 08, Sequins Scatters Sky, Stitched Word Strip Sentiments No. 02, Sweet Rose Bay Element Pack, Vintage Flashcards: Numbers, Watery Washes No. 04 Brushes and Stamps
