Color Spots Scrapbook Challenge: Falling Leaves

Leaves are falling all around where I live. It’s an amazing time of year to see how things change from the hot summer, to the chilly months of fall. I enjoy taking photos of the leaves in my yard in the mornings with the sunrise. I went searching for some inspiration pieces of fall leaves and fall colors.

I (KimR+) recently had our annual family pictures taken. When Katie released the Autumnal Flore Kit, I was beyond happy. It was just perfect for our colors. The kit is also wonderful for this months color challenge. I also added an evergreen branch that not only goes with the area of our photo shoot, but also the inspiration pieces above. What little tidbits of the photos can you tie into your page?Supplies used: Assorted Messy Stitches: White No. 05Autumnal Flore Fall Scrapbooking CollectionEvergreens Element PackGolden Glitter Splatters No. 01Hinge PackPainted Leaf Clusters No 1, Spring Twists No. 01Stamped Blocks No. 32 Brushes and StampsStriping Graphic Brushes and Stamps No. 01Tag Frames No. 01This Makes Sense Layered TemplateWood Veneer Words No. 28

Jana (jana) created a beautiful artsy page with the colors. I love the soft background like the door on the wreath inspiration piece along with all the pumpkins and leaves. Her added texture with the Taped Together Overlays is the perfect final touch.Supplies used: Watery Foliage No. 17Pumpkin Spice Painted LayersPumpkin Spice Element PackFall Breeze Brushes and StampsAutumn Rambles Add-On and Solids Paper PackAutumn Rambles Element PackTaped Together Edges Overlays No. 05ARToption Mini Mix No. 02Spill Frame Layers No. 19Mixed Media Leaf Layers No. 02All Around 4×6 Fall Borders No. 01Beloved Element Pack

Sylvia (smcloone) created this stunning page. I love how she masked the photo over the various frames. The brushwork from the bendable layers remind me of falling scattered leaves. Just magical!Supplies used: Color Challenge Freebie 1117, Blendable Layers No. 79Terra Botanica Solids Paper PackPage Fades No. 02Spill Frame Layers No. 19Blendable Layers No. 59,

Rachael (myssp) blew me away with this amazing page! I just love all the details, texture and layers. The wooden frame and pine wreath are just fabulous.  She too used a textured border to tie her page together.Supplies used:Credits: Color Challenge Freebie 1117, Layer Works No 867, Layer Works No 866, Readymade Layers: Fall Banners, Pumpkin Spice Fall Scrapbooking BundleLayer Works No. 863Fall Breeze Brushes and StampsAutumn Winds Roughed Up Photo MatsAll Around 4×6 Fall Borders No. 01
