Artsy Challenge: Scattered

Hello everybody, are you ready for another artsy challenge? I have found that I really like something a little whimsical on my artsy pages and one of the things I really love are the different scatterings. There are so many in the store, I had trouble picking just one 🙂 Katie included my favorite in her cute freebie, check it out here . It is very simple to change the colors, but if you have trouble, check out Cassie’s awesome tutorial on recoloring in the store. It has been very helpful to me! You have until Sunday Noon to create a page for the challenge and all I ask is that you use any kind of scattering on it. See, really easy, right? 🙂

I have a few example pages for you to check out. Georgina (georginci) created this darling page about her sweet daughter on the beach, I just love how she tucked those scatterings behind the frame. What an adorable page

IUma used this really cool photo of her grandman to create this beauty! She lets her scatterings run diagonally across the page, leading the eye.

Lastly there is my page. My DD just went to her junior prom last weekend and she wore a princess dress for the first time What an experience but I just loved the look! I chose to recolor my scatterings and run them at the bottom of my photo cluster. I love how they add just a touch of playfulness.

I hope you will give the challenge a try, I can’t wait to see what you will come up with. And of course there will be a random drawing for a 5 $ GC to the store come Sunday afternoon! I hope that will give you that little extra push to participate 🙂 Make sure to post your pages in the Artsy Challenge Gallery so I can find them.  Have fun with it and enjoy the freebie!  Anke
