Welcome to a brand-new challenge at Designer Digitals! This is Steph and my new challenge is just for you. And I mean that literally.
When you sit down to scrapbook a layout, who is the focus of your layout usually? Chances are that it’s your kids, your grandkids, your spouse, friend or even your pets. Perhaps it’s vacation photos or photos of a child’s birthday. How often do you focus on you? On yourself? Not often, I would guess.
Well, that’s about to change. Because this challenge is “All About Me” (AAM). Or rather, it’s all about you. The goal of this challenge is to take time each month to focus on yourself. The challenge will run 2x/month so if you do both challenges every month, you’ll have approximately 25 layouts at the end of the year – layouts about you – and it would make a perfect book. And a great treasure for future generations!
The first assignment is called “Me Now.” You can choose to do your own take on that idea and scrap anything about yourself if you want. If you choose to make your layouts into a book, this will be the first entry in the book so your focus for this first layout will be on your life right now. Today. This week.
You may choose to describe your life, your work, your pets, your grandchildren or anything at all that describes you right now. You could also make up a list or find a quiz to fill in like the one below:
Another really fun part of this challenge is that I’m going to be asking community members to join the Creative Team for the blog posts! Join in and post your layouts in the All About Me Challenge Gallery. I can’t wait to see them.
Our first layout today comes from Designer Digitals community member, susiecw. Susie’s layout is soft, stylish, and stunning! I love the way she journaled this page – lots of random facts about herself. A perfect snapshot of her life right now.

Linda’s layout knocked me over! So simple and so perfect. And I adore the photo treatment.

And, finally, here’s my layout for this challenge. I chose a template for this layout because I loved the “Here & Now” title on Cathy’s template. It really fit my journaling and my story. I may use the same template for my last entry in the book at the end of the year, too.
