18 Things to Scrapbook in 2018

18 Things to Scrapbook in 2018

2017 is almost in the books and it’s time to set intentions for 2018 with 18 Things to Scrapbook in 2018!

One of my intentions is to get more scrapbooking done in 2018. The reasons for scrapbooking are many. We all take so many photos these days with our phones so handy and scrapbooking adds the stories to the photos and preserves them into memories to share. Now and for future generations. This year we were reminded that every day is a gift and not to put off to tomorrow what you can do today and that holds true for scrapbooking too!

At DesignerDigitals in 2018, you can look forward to a few new series including My Story to help you document your own life because nobody knows your story like you do! And a Monthly Memories series is coming as well! An easy way to document each month to have a completed year-in-review by the time the year is done!

But that’s not all! There are so many other things I’d like to scrapbook and made a list of 18 Things to Scrapbook in 2018 to inspire you to scrapbook your photos into memories to share:
1. my life
2. my heritage
3. my daily life
4. previous vacations
5. school days
6. school days art projects
7. Book of Advice [what I’d tell my 18 year old self etc]
8. collections
9. dream destinations
10. lyrical life [pages with inspiring lyrics]
11. recipe books
12. favorite photo graphs
13. Milestones [of a child’s life or your life]
14. Life Changing Events in your life
15. stories of the past [from parents, grandparents etc]
16. Family Traditions
17. Book about what makes you Happy
18. What you are grateful for

We look forward to scrapbooking 2018 together at DesignerDigitals!

I’m excited for 2018, for a year of living with intent and I can’t wait for the the My Story series to unfold!

  2. Stacia says:

Love all the inspiration I find here at Designer Digitals, and this is a great list! I’ve started a list, too, including projects I want to finish, continue, and start. It’s exciting to think about getting more of our lives documented in the coming year, and printing and making books so that other people can easily see all the stories. I love the idea of the new series, can’t wait to see them.

I’m excited about the My Story series. One of my projects for this year is an all about grandma and all about grandpa book for our grandkids. Here’s to more scrapping in 2018!

I am looking forward to seeing what these ‘series’ are all about. I really hope to get more scrapping done and stories told in 2018, and am always looking for new ways to be inspired! Bring on 2018!

I hope you’re able to stay inspired Jane! I’m hoping that having a schedule and steady inspiration will help us all!

  7. Debi says:

Great list, Katie! I need to do one myself! And, will DEFINITELY be including “My Story” and I simply can’t wait for your creative help in getting those “me” stories told! Happy 2018! 🙂

  8. Carol Griffin says:

I am happy to see the My Story addition. Is there any plan to revive the Heritage Challenge? Just curious.

    • ddadmin says:

Thanks Carol! I’m not sure about the heritage challenge. I’ll see if any of our team is up for it again. I think I’ve tapped myself out with commitments but a new paper line I’m designing just might inspire me towards more heritage so stay tuned! 😉
