If you purchased the Year In Review Layered Template Set by Katie Pertiet, you may wish to change the date from 2008 to a different year.

The Messy Stamped Numbers and Extras Brushes and Stamps set  matches the numbers Katie used in the template

Here are the steps to stamping a new date:

Load the brush in Photoshop or PSE.

Open the template

Click on the Layer Visibility Icon (looks like an eyeball) on the left side of the “08” layer to hide the layer.

Create a new layer by clicking the “Create a new layer icon”  in the Layers palette (looks like a page with a turned up corner.)  This is very important!

Get the Brush tool.

Change your foreground color to white or use the Eyedropper tool to pick up a color that matches the title.

Select the a number from the Messy Stamped Numbers and Extras Brushes and Stamps set  in the Brush Options drop-down menu.

Make sure the Mode is set to normal and opacity 100% in the Options bar.

Click on the new transparent layer you created to stamp the image.
