Happy
New Year! I love this time of the year, when we can start fresh and
“reset” our lives with new resolutions. It’s like getting a
chance to start over and do things right this time.
With
Photoshop and PSE, you can get a fresh start by transforming the
Cancel buttons to “Reset.” When you are working in a window such
as Hue/Saturation, Levels, Brightness/Contrast, Gradients (or others)
clicking Cancel
will erase your adjustments and close the window. Sometimes,
however, you just need a fresh start – you need to cancel your
changes and try again.
When
you just need to return to the original settings, but don’t want to
close the window, press the Alt
key
on your keyboard (Mac: Opt
key)
to transform the Cancel button to a Reset
button.
Like
the New Year, using Reset gives you a fresh start so that you can do
better the second time.
This
month, our Photoshop and PSE tips will help you develop good
Photoshop habits. Be sure to check the newsletter each week for our
Photoshop New Year’s Resolutions.
