Are
you running around in circles trying to get it “all” done before
Christmas? With our hectic holiday schedules, it’s always nice to
discover shortcuts that can save a few precious moments. Here are a
couple of handy shortcuts for creating perfect circle selections in
Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.
Click
and hold the Marquee
Tool.
From the fly-out menu, select the Elliptical
Marquee.
To draw out a perfect circle, hold the Shift
key
while you click and drag. To draw a perfect circle from the center
out, hold down the Alt
key and
Shift key
while you click and drag (Mac: Opt
+ Shift).
And
finally, use the arrow keys to position your circle just where you
want it.
To
commit the selection, get the Move Tool and drag your circle to its
new home.
