Create Your Own Shortcut in Photoshop |
|||||
In the full version of Photoshop, you can view all of the keyboard shortcuts by pressing Ctrl Alt Shift K (Mac: Cmd Opt Shift K) on your keyboard. This will bring up the Keyboard Shortcuts panel. You can scroll through the menus and shortcuts to learn new ones. The Keyboard Shortcuts panel also allows you to create your own custom shortcut. If you use a certain function for which there is no shortcut, it can save you time and frustration when you create your own. For example, I like to use the Unsharp Mask function to sharpen my photos. Here’s how I could create a custom shortcut: Open the Keyboard Shortcuts panel and select Application Menus in the "Create Shortcuts for:" box. Scroll down to find Filter and then Unsharp Mask. Click the bar to the right of the mask label. This opens a box. Type a keyboard shortcut such as "Ctrl ." Click Accept and then OK. Now when I am working, I can simply press the keys "Ctrl ." on my keyboard to open the Unsharp Mask filter. |
