Power Nudge with Cursor Keys in Photoshop and PSE

Article Details

Last Updated

When you have a layered document open, you can use the cursor keys (arrow keys) to nudge a layer. Using the Move tool, select a layer. Press a cursor key to move the layer one pixel. To power nudge, hold the Shift key as you press the arrow. This moves the layer by 10 pixel increments.

It's handy to have this kind of precision when you are moving an element into place on a document.
