Once you add a layer style, like a drop shadow, to one layer in a document, you can easily copy it to any other layer. One quick way is to click on the fx icon on the right side of the layer while holding down the Alt key (Mac: Opt key.) Simply click/drag the icon to another layer.  The style will be applied to the layer.
