Making the Photoshop Interface Type Easier to See

Article Details

Last Updated

In the previous tip, we explored how to change the Layers panel settings so that the layer contents are visible at a glance.

Creative Team Member Uma asked for a follow-up showing how to increase the font size of the layer titles so that the titles would be easier to see as well.

You'll find this setting under Edit > Preferences > Interface in the Menu bar of the full version of Photoshop.

Under Text, choose UI Font size: Large. Click OK and restart the software to see the change.

Unfortunately, this setting has been left out of Elements, so you Elements users will have to rely more heavily on the layer thumbnail tip instead.

Thanks for watching and be sure to check back in two weeks for another Photoshop or Elements tip.
