Magazines and newspapers arrange text in neat columns. The text is spaced to fit across the entire width of the column.  This is called justified type.
You can reproduce this clean text look on your pages using Photoshop or Elements. Here’s how:

Open a new document in Photoshop or PSE.
Get the Type tool.
Move the cursor over to your layout and drag out a text box the size and shape you want.
The cursor will start blinking in the top left corner. Type out all of your words.
Next, press Ctrl A (Mac: Cmd A) to select all the words.
Press Ctrl Shift J (Cmd Shift J.)

Your text will automatically spread out to fill the width of the box, making a crisp column of type for your page.
