The full version of Photoshop includes a wonderful stacking feature that helps when you are working with multiple embellishments like alphas.

To use the feature in Photoshop, open your software.
Choose File > Scripts > Load Files into Stack.

This opens the Load Layer dialog box.
Choose Use: Files to find images or Use: Folder to search from within one folder.

Click the Browse button and use the Look in: box to find the alpha set on your computer.
Ctrl click (Mac: Cmd click) the letters you want to use and click Open.
Click OK again on the Load Layers dialog box.
All of the letters will open in one document where they will be stacked in layers.

Create a new document or open a background paper.
Target the alphabet stack. Now click the top layers, hold the Shift key and click the bottom layer of the stack to select them all.
Drag the letters over to your scrapbook document and use the Move tool to arrange them.
