Text Paths Made Easy in Photoshop and PSE |
|||||
Begin by opening a new document in Photoshop or Elements. Open a Text Byte text path. Select Window > Images > Float all in Windows or Window > Arrange > Float all in Windows. In older versions of the software, choose Cascade in place of Float all in windows. Get the Move tool and Ctrl click (Mac: Cmd click) all of the template layers to select them. Then drag the path template layers onto your document. Drag the layers into position on your scrapbook document and close the template document. To change the text, double-click the T thumbnail in the Layers Panel. This highlights the text and changes your tool to the Type tool. Choose a font, font style, size and color in the Options Bar across the top of the screen. Begin typing to automatically replace the sample text. You may need to double-click the T a second time after making your choices. When you have finished typing your text, click the checkmark to confirm it. Using text bytes adds pizzazz to your pages by making the text a design element and using premade text paths saves you the time and trouble of creating your own. |
