1. Photomerge Style Match feature: allows you to choose a source photo and apply its qualities to another photo 2. Layer Masks for editing photos nondestructively: Reveal one portion of a photo through another photo by using layer masks to control the transparency of specific areas. 3. Updated spot-healing brush: now can be used to remove large, unwanted portions of a photo. May take several "passes" with the brush to remove telephone wires, tourists, or passing cars. The improved tool blends even the most complex backgrounds and instantly fixes old or torn photos so you can make new prints. (The very popular Content Aware Fill from Photoshop CS5 is built into this improved tool.) 4. Improved Panorama feature with edge filling: combines shots, blends the seams and fills in the missing areas around the edges of the combined photo to smooth rough edges. 5. New in the Guided Edit mode: reflection effect pop-art effects "Lomo" camera effects "Perfect Portrait" feature which walks you through the various tools used to improve photos 6. Social Networking: The Organizer's Share tab lets you send photos and videos to your Facebook, Flickr, KODAK Gallery and Smugmug account directly from the Organizer. It also automatically optimizes your media so it looks its best. 7. Photobook Creator: automatically arranges your photos into a photobook that you can print at home, send to the KODAK Gallery or Shutterfly. 8. The interface is a little lighter than the previous version and the text size is larger, making it easier on the eyes. 9. The Mac version now has the Organizer feature and you have the ability to move your Windows catalog to your Mac computer via backup and restore. |
