I created a double-page spread. How do I separate it into two pages so I can print it?

First make a copy of your 24x12-inch page so that you don't accidentally overwrite the original (File > Duplicate in PSE or Image > Duplicate in PS.)

Get the Crop Tool.
In the Options Bar, select 12-inches by 12-inches at 300 ppi.
(This is the size to use if you are uploading it to print.  If you are uploading to an online gallery you might want to choose something like 450x450 PIXELS at 100 ppi.)

Drag out a square to encompass the left side of the layout.
Confirm the crop by clicking the checkmark.
Select File > Save As and save the left side as a .jpg image naming it something like PrettyLayout_Left.

Then in the History Palette, revert back to the full size image (or Undo several steps in PSE.) Get the Crop Tool again and repeat the process, but this time crop the right side and save as PrettyLayout_Right.
